Itinerary

1. Day 1: Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the day with pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.

   • Drive approximately 2 to 3 hours to Tarangire National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way.

   • Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to explore the park, known for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and numerous bird species.

   • Pause for a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty.

   • Proceed to a public campsite or Fig Tree Lodge & Camp for the evening.

   • Enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and spend the night camping under the African stars, experiencing the sounds and sights of the wilderness.

2. Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

   • Start the day with an early breakfast at the campsite.

   • Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

   • Observe diverse wildlife including rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, zebras, and buffalo across the crater floor.

   • Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near the Hippo Pool while taking in the breathtaking crater landscapes.

   • Continue the game drive for additional wildlife viewing before ascending from the crater in the afternoon.

   • Drive back to Arusha, approximately 3 to 4 hours, with drop-off at your hotel or the airport, concluding a memorable 2-day African wilderness safari.
