The itinerary

Day 01

Nairobi to Samburu via Mt. Kenya

At 8:00 a.m., depart Nairobi for Samburu via Mt. Kenya, passing the coffee plantations along the way. Samburu Game Reserve is situated at the southern corner of the Samburu district, and you will enjoy a game drive en route.
On arrival, check in to the lodge or campsite for lunch.
After a brief relaxation, proceed for an evening game drive in search of lions, elephants, gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, oryx, the reticulated giraffe, over 500 species of birds, and other plains game.

Dinner and overnight.

Day 02

Morning and Evening Game Drives in Samburu

After breakfast, go for a game drive.
Return for lunch at the campsite.
Enjoy a siesta at the campsite, followed by an evening game drive.

Day 03

Samburu to Aberdare National Park

Depart early in the morning for Aberdare National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Camp.
In the evening, head out for a game drive. One of the main features of the national park is that it is home to the second-largest population of black rhinos, which are an endangered species.
Other animals that may be observed in the park include African lions, leopards, baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, and Sykes monkeys. There are also over 250 species of birds, including hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds, and plovers.

Day 04

Lake Naivasha Boat Ride and Transfer to Masai Mara

After breakfast, go for a boat ride on the lake and have an opportunity to see fish eagles fishing.
After the boat ride, depart for Maasai Mara via Narok Town.
Arrive at the camp in time for lunch. The reserve is a jewel of Kenya's wildlife areas and one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
After lunch, proceed for a game drive, searching for black-maned lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, rhino, and other plains game.

Day 05

Full-Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara

Spend the day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Maasai Mara is renowned for its great herds of plains game that abound in plenty.
There is an optional visit to the Maasai Village for a cultural learning experience.
You can also opt to take picnic lunch boxes and explore further deep into the park.
