Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Begin with an early morning breakfast at your hotel.
- Meet your guide and start your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
- Stop at the equator for photos and enjoy lunch along the way.
- Drive through scenic landscapes, tea plantations, and local villages.
- Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi by evening.
Have dinner and relax in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trek.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Optional Return to Kampala
- Wake up early and have breakfast at the lodge.
- Transfer to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing.
- Carry packed lunch, drinking water, and rain gear.
- Hire a porter (optional, $15 USD) to assist with your bag and terrain.
- Join a group of eight and begin the guided trek into the forest.
- Spend one hour observing a mountain gorilla family in their natural habitat.
- Receive a trekking certificate after completing the experience.
- Depending on your arrangement, transfer back to Kampala or remain in Bwindi.
