Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam and Transfer to Zanzibar

   • Arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport (JNIA) in Dar es Salaam.

   • Meet your driver/guide who will assist with luggage and transfer you to the ferry terminal.

   • Board the morning ferry to Zanzibar.

   • Upon arrival at Zanzibar ferry terminal, transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

   • Enjoy a relaxed afternoon walking tour of Stone Town. Explore narrow winding streets, visit the Old Slave Market and the House of Wonders.

   • Take in views along the Forodhani seafront.

   • Spend the evening dining locally by the ocean or relaxing at your hotel.

   Overnight at hotel or resort in Stone Town.

   Meals: Full board (FB).

2. Day 2: Flight to Mikumi National Park and Game Drive

   • Have an early breakfast at your hotel.

   • Transfer to Zanzibar Airport (ZNZ) for a domestic flight to Mikumi National Park.

   • Upon arrival at Mikumi airstrip, meet your professional safari guide and begin a mid-morning game drive.

   • Spot wildlife including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, wildebeests, lions, and more.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park or a hot meal at a nearby lodge.

   • Continue your afternoon game drive, exploring different areas of the park and enjoying diverse animal sightings and changing landscapes.

   Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in or near Mikumi National Park.

   Meals: Full board (FB).

3. Day 3: Morning Walking Safari and Return to Dar es Salaam

   • Begin with an early morning walking safari to experience Mikumi’s wildlife up close.

   • Return to the lodge for breakfast.

   • Start your road journey back to Dar es Salaam, taking in scenic views of rural Tanzania.

   • Stop as needed along the way for rest or refreshments.

   • Arrive in Dar es Salaam by late afternoon or early evening.

   • Transfer to your hotel or Julius Nyerere International Airport, concluding your 3-day adventure.
