Day 01

Arrival in Paro and Cultural Discovery in Thimphu

  • Complete immigration formalities upon arrival at Paro International Airport.

  • Meet your Bhutanese guide and drive for approximately 2 hours through lush valleys to reach Thimphu, the capital city.

  • Visit the National Textile Museum to learn about Bhutanese weaving traditions.

  • Explore a traditional handmade paper factory to witness ancient papermaking techniques.

Day 02

Tiger's Nest Hike and Kyichu Lhakhang Visit

  • Depart early for Paro and visit the base of Satsam Chorten.
  • Begin a guided hike to the sacred Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched dramatically on a cliff.

  • Ascend the trail for approximately two to three hours, taking in majestic views of the Paro Valley.

  • Visit the monastery where Guru Rinpoche meditated in the 8th century.

  • Descend and enjoy a local lunch.

  • Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Bhutan.

  • Return to Thimphu for an overnight stay.

Departure from Paro

  • Enjoy your final breakfast in Bhutan.
  • Drive to Paro International Airport with your guide.

  • Arrive at the airport at least one hour before departure for check-in.
