Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300 meters / 4265 feet)

   • Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

   • Meet your representative from Alpine Club of Himalaya and transfer to your accommodation.

   • Explore the vibrant Thamel neighborhood, a hub for tourists and local artisans.

   • Join a brief orientation session regarding the journey.

   • Attend a special welcome dinner program featuring Nepali cuisine and cultural performances.

2. Day 2 – Visit Pashupatinath & Dakshinkali Temples

   Day 2: Visit Pashupatinath and Dakshinkali Temples

   • Have breakfast at the hotel.

   • Proceed to visit Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

   • Explore the temple complex and observe rituals from the eastern bank, as only Hindus are allowed inside the main courtyard.

   • Drive to the southern outskirts of the valley to visit Dakshinkali Temple.

   • Discover the legends and rituals of this shrine dedicated to Goddess Kali.

   • Return to your accommodation for overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Drive to Pokhara with Visit to Manakamana Temple

   • Begin a scenic drive along the Prithvi Highway towards Pokhara.

   • Stop at Kurintar and take a cable car ride to visit the sacred Manakamana Temple.

   • Explore the temple complex and enjoy panoramic views of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi River valleys.

   • View the Himalayan peaks of Manaslu, Himalchuli, and Annapurna from a nearby vantage point.

   • Descend via cable car and resume the drive to Pokhara.

   • Arrive in Pokhara and explore the lakeside area.

4. Day 4: Visit Bindhyabasini and Tal Barahi Temples

   • Visit Bindhyabasini Temple in the old bazaar, dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati.

   • Learn about the temple’s spiritual importance and observe local rituals.

   • Head to Phewa Lake for a scenic boat ride to Tal Barahi Temple located on a small island.

   • Explore the pagoda-style temple and its peaceful surroundings.

   • Spend the afternoon enjoying lakeside walks and relaxing at nearby restaurants.

5. Day 5: Fly to Jomsom and Drive to Muktinath Temple

   • Catch an early morning flight to Jomsom with stunning Himalayan views en route.

   • Drive through the barren trans-Himalayan landscape toward Muktinath.

   • Reach Muktinath Temple, situated at an altitude of 3,800 meters.

   • Visit the sacred temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and observe the unique dual reverence by both Hindus and Buddhists.

   • Explore the Jwala Mai Temple and its eternal natural flame.

   • Take in the breathtaking views of snowcapped mountains and the surrounding valley.

   • Drive back to Jomsom for overnight stay.

6. Day 6: Fly Back to Pokhara

   • Wake up early and enjoy sunrise views over the Himalayas.

   • Have breakfast and fly back to Pokhara.

   • Rest at your hotel and later explore Pokhara at your leisure.

   • Relax in the evening by Phewa Lake and enjoy the sunset.

7. Day 7: Fly Back to Kathmandu

   • Have breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu.

   • Arrive and check in to your accommodation.

   • Spend your afternoon shopping for souvenirs or enjoying local cafes.

   • Join a farewell dinner hosted by Alpine Club of Himalaya.

8. Day 8: Final Departure

   • Have breakfast at your hotel.

   • Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport with assistance from your representative.

   • Depart for your home country, marking the end of your memorable journey through Nepal.
