The itinerary

Day 01

Rishikesh to Joshimath via Devprayag and Rudraprayag

  • Begin the scenic drive from Rishikesh early in the morning.
  • Witness the confluence of rivers at Devprayag, visit Dhari Devi Temple, and see Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag.

  • Arrive in Joshimath in the evening and check in to the hotel.

  • Rest and acclimatize for the upcoming trek.

Joshimath to Ghangaria via Govindghat and Pulna

  • Have breakfast and drive to Govindghat, then continue to Pulna village by local jeep.
  • Start the trek along the Pushpawati River through scenic landscapes to reach Ghangaria.

  • Reach Ghangaria, the base for the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib.

Stay overnight in Ghangaria.

Day 03

Valley of Flowers National Park Trek

  • Begin the trek after breakfast towards the Valley of Flowers National Park.
  • Explore the paradise of alpine flowers, rare Himalayan herbs, and breathtaking mountain views.

  • Spend time amidst the colorful flora and natural beauty before returning to Ghangaria.

Stay overnight in Ghangaria.

Day 04

Hemkund Sahib Pilgrimage Trek

  • Start early for a steep and rewarding trek to Hemkund Sahib at 4,329 meters.
  • Visit the sacred Sikh shrine situated by a serene glacial lake surrounded by seven peaks.

  • Seek blessings at the Gurudwara and enjoy a hot langar meal before descending.

  • Trek back from Ghangaria to Govindghat.
  • Drive onward to Joshimath.

  • Have breakfast and start the drive back to Rishikesh.
