Day 1: Tanga to Amani Nature Forest Reserve and Botanical Garden Walk
- Begin the morning with a hotel pick-up in Tanga.
Drive through scenic landscapes and local villages en route to Amani Nature Forest Reserve.
Arrive at the reserve headquarters to register and pay entrance fees.
Proceed to your lodge or camp and check in.
Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, take a guided walk through the historic Amani Botanical Garden.
Discover a wide range of endemic and exotic plants, and learn about their medicinal and ecological significance from your guide.
Return to your lodge in the late afternoon.
Have dinner and spend the night in the Amani Nature Forest Reserve area.

Day 2: Guided Hikes, Waterfalls, Birdwatching, and Cultural Experiences
- After breakfast, set out on a longer guided forest hike.
Choose from several trails based on your interests and fitness level:
Kisasa Waterfall Trail: Trek to a stunning waterfall and enjoy swimming in natural plunge pools (approximately 4–5 hours).
Kwamkoro Trail or Mbomole Hill: A more challenging hike with panoramic views and excellent birdwatching opportunities.
Learn about the forest's rich flora, spot butterflies, and view endemic birds such as the Amani Sunbird and Usambara Eagle-Owl.
Take a break for a picnic lunch surrounded by the tranquility of the forest.

In the afternoon, begin your drive back to Tanga.
