Itinerary

1. Day 1: Travel from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

   • Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.

2. Day 2: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

4. Day 4: Cross from Maasai Mara to North Serengeti

   • Complete border formalities and drive into Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.

   • Explore the Mara River area, famous for wildebeest crossings during the migration.

5. Day 5: Explore North Serengeti

6. Day 6: Transfer to Central Serengeti

   • Travel from North to Central Serengeti after breakfast.
   • Enjoy spectacular game viewing throughout the journey.
   • Explore the Seronera Valley, rich in wildlife throughout the year.
   • Watch for prides of lions, herds of elephants, and grazing antelopes.

   Stay overnight at Kontik Serengeti Camp.

7. Day 7: Discover Central Serengeti

   • Start early and embark on a full-day safari.
   • Visit the Hippo Pool and observe wildlife near water sources.
   • Explore a variety of habitats for sightings of leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, and zebras.
   • Break for a picnic lunch and continue with afternoon game drives.
   • Return to Kontik Serengeti Camp for dinner and overnight.

8. Day 8: Travel from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Drive to Ngorongoro after breakfast.
   • Stop for a picnic lunch en route.
   • Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
   • Explore the floor of the crater to see black rhinos, lions, and flamingoes.
   • Visit Olduvai Gorge if time permits.
   • Ascend to the crater rim and transfer to Eileen’s Tree Inn for dinner and overnight.

9. Day 9: Visit Tarangire National Park and Continue to Arusha

11. Day 11: Experience a Full Day in Amboseli

    • Wake up early for clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
    • Spend the full day on game drives with a picnic lunch.
    • Observe large herds of elephants at close range, along with other wildlife.
    • Return to AA Amboseli Lodge for dinner and overnight.

12. Day 12: Conclude Safari in Nairobi

    • Begin the day with a morning game drive in Amboseli.

    • Depart Amboseli and drive to Nairobi in the early afternoon.
