Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania – Transfer to Moshi

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be warmly welcomed.

   • Meet your professional driver guide who will brief you about your upcoming safari.

   • Transfer to your hotel in Moshi town for rest and overnight stay.

   • Prepare for the adventure ahead with a relaxing evening.

2. Day 2: Moshi/Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

   • Depart from your hotel after breakfast and begin your safari with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park.

   • Explore the park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and elephants.

   • Observe various habitats such as forest, savannah, and alkaline lake, teeming with pink flamingos and other bird species.

   • Spot giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, wildebeests, warthogs, and more.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.

   • Continue to your lodge near Lake Manyara for dinner and overnight.

3. Day 3: Lake Manyara Area to Serengeti National Park

   • Depart early after breakfast and drive through the fertile highlands with views of wheat, corn, and coffee plantations.

   • Enter the vast plains of Serengeti National Park by mid-day.

   • Begin your game drive en route to your lodge, exploring varied landscapes including open plains, woodlands, swamps, and rocky outcrops.

   • Spot herds of wildebeest and zebras as they migrate in search of fresh grazing grounds.

   • Reach your lodge in the Serengeti in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park – Transfer to Ngorongoro

   • Spend the entire day on game drives across Serengeti, guided by your expert driver who will track the movements of the migrating herds and predators.

   • Visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre to learn about the park’s history and conservation efforts.

   • After a picnic lunch, continue your drive through the park toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Reach the crater rim in the evening for breathtaking views and sunset photography.

   Dinner and overnight at a lodge near or on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Return to Moshi/Arusha

   • Wake up early and descend into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, Ngorongoro Crater.

   • Explore the crater floor, home to more than 20,000 animals including lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the rare black rhino.

   • Observe other wildlife such as hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, elands, and hundreds of bird species.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the crater.

   • Ascend the crater wall in the afternoon and drive back to Moshi or Arusha.

   • End of safari with drop-off at your hotel or airport transfer.
