Day 1: Arrival in Moshi/Arusha
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or designated pickup point.
Meet your mountain guide and transfer to the hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
Attend an evening pre-trek briefing and gear check with the team.

Day 2: Lemosho Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
- Elevation: 7,742 ft to 9,498 ft
Distance: 6 km / 4 miles
Hiking Time: 3–4 hours
Habitat: Rainforest
Drive from Moshi to Lemosho Gate (approximately 4 hours).
Complete entry formalities and begin the trek through lush rainforest.
Reach Mti Mkubwa Camp for overnight stay.

Day 3: Mti Mkubwa to Shira 1 Camp
- Elevation: 9,498 ft to 11,500 ft
Distance: 8 km / 5 miles

Ascend from rainforest into heather and moorland.
Cross rolling hills and streams before arriving at Shira Ridge.
Descend slightly to Shira 1 Camp.

Day 4: Shira 1 to Moir Hut via Shira Plateau

Divert to Moir Hut, located beneath the Lent Hills.

Begin summit push in early morning hours.
Reach Stella Point, then continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa.
Descend slightly to Crater Camp for overnight stay inside the crater.
Optional hike to Reutsch Crater and the ash pit.

Day 8: Crater Camp to Mweka Camp

Continue down to Mweka Camp, located in the forest zone.

Drive back to the hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
