Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
- Arrive at Kigali International Airport.
Meet and greet with fast-track assistance through immigration and customs.
Meet your private guide and transfer to your hotel in a comfortable safari vehicle.
Enjoy a delicious welcome dinner and settle in for the night.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Ruhengeri
- Enjoy breakfast at your hotel.
Begin your guided Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Museum.
Continue to the Nyamirambo Women’s Centre for a walking tour, traditional snack, Kinyarwanda language lesson, and a local lunch.
After lunch, drive north through Rwanda’s terraced hills to Ruhengeri, near Volcanoes National Park.
Arrive at your lodge, enjoy the views, and attend an engaging Gorilla Doctors presentation at 5:00 PM.
Return to your lodge for a garden-to-table dinner.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Visit to Ellen DeGeneres Campus
- Begin early with a hearty breakfast.
Head to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing, then begin your gorilla trek.
Spend up to one hour with a gorilla family in their natural habitat.
Return for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 4: Dian Fossey Tomb Hike and Optional Afternoon Activities
- After breakfast, embark on the Dian Fossey Tomb hike.
Hike through rainforest to her grave site alongside Digit and other gorillas.
Return to the lodge for lunch.
Spend the afternoon at leisure or choose from the following optional activities:

Day 5: Iby’Iwachu Cultural Village and Return to Kigali
- After breakfast, visit the Iby’Iwachu Cultural Village.

Drive back to Kigali through beautiful countryside.
Arrive in Kigali and participate in a coffee masterclass at Question Coffee.
Learn about Rwanda’s coffee heritage, production, roasting, and tasting.
Transfer to your hotel for the evening.
