Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Arrive in Kathmandu

   • Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport.

   • Meet your Adventure Metro Everest representative.

   • Transfer to hotel and check-in.

   • Explore the Thamel area if time permits.

   • Spend the night at a hotel in Kathmandu.

2. Day 2 – Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,610m)

   • Have breakfast and check out.

   • Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (scenic mountain flight).

   • Meet your porter team at Lukla.

   • Begin trekking and descend to the Dudh Koshi River.

   • Cross a suspension bridge and reach Phakding.

   Dine and overnight at a lodge or tea house.

3. Day 3 – Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

   • Start trek after breakfast.

   • Pass through pine forests and Sherpa villages.

   • Cross into Sagarmatha National Park.

   • Ascend gradually to Namche Bazaar.

   • Arrive at the largest Sherpa town in the region.

   Have dinner and stay overnight.

4. Day 4 – Acclimatization Hike Around Namche Bazaar

   • Begin acclimatization hike after breakfast.

   • Visit Syangboche Airstrip and Everest View Hotel.

   • Explore the Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Museum.

   • Optionally hike to Khumjung and Kande Villages.

   • Return to Namche Bazaar for dinner and rest.

5. Day 5 – Trek to Tengboche (3,867m)

   • Trek toward Tengboche through alpine forests.

   • Ascend steep paths to Pungki Thanka.

   • Cross the Dudh Koshi River and continue to Tengboche.

   • Visit Tengboche Monastery (oldest and largest in the region).

   Overnight stay at a lodge or tea house.

6. Day 6 – Trek to Dingboche (4,450m)

   • Descend to Deboche and cross Imja Khola River.

   • Pass through Pangboche and enter Imja Valley.

   • Arrive at Dingboche with views of Island Peak and Ama Dablam.

   Dine and overnight in a mountain lodge.

7. Day 7 – Acclimatization Hike to Nagarsang Peak (5,170m) Start early for an acclimatization hike to Nagarsang Peak.

   • View surrounding Himalayan giants.

   • Return to Dingboche and explore the village.

   Stay overnight after dinner.

8. Day 8 – Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)

   • Trek toward Thukla and Pheriche.

   • Ascend through Chupki Lhara (memorial site).

   • Cross Khumbu Glacier's moraine trail.

   • Reach Lobuche and settle in for the night.

9. Day 9 – Trek to Gorakshep + Everest Base Camp (5,364m)

   • Trek alongside the glacier to Gorakshep.

   • Have lunch and continue to Everest Base Camp.

   • Celebrate your accomplishment at base camp.

   • Return to Gorakshep and rest.

   • Optionally hike to Kala Patthar for sunset.

10. Day 10 – Sunrise at Kala Patthar + Trek to Pheriche (4,250m)

    • Wake early and hike to Kala Patthar for sunrise views.

    • Return for breakfast and begin descent.

    • Follow trail to Pheriche and settle for the night.

11. Day 11 – Trek to Namche Bazaar

    • Begin descent from Pheriche after breakfast.

    • Pass through Tengboche and retrace the route.

    • Reach Namche Bazaar for overnight rest.

12. Day 12 – Trek to Lukla

    • Trek back through Monjo and Phakding.

    • Ascend gradually back to Lukla.

    • Celebrate your final night in the mountains.

13. Day 13 – Fly Back to Kathmandu

    • Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.

    • Transfer to hotel and check in.

    • Attend a trip review and farewell dinner.

14. Day 14 – Departure

    • Have breakfast and check out of your hotel.

    • Transfer to the airport 3 hours before departure.

    • Depart with memories of the Everest Base Camp trek.
