Day 1: Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
- Begin your journey at 7:30 am with pickup from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe by your professional tour driver guide.
Depart southwest via the Masaka-Mbarara Road, covering approximately 520 kilometers over 8–9 hours.
Stop at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for a photo opportunity and a brief break.
Continue to Mbarara and enjoy lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre, home to a five-star hotel, top-tier restaurant, museum, craft shops, and cultural exhibits.
Resume the scenic drive through rural villages and terraced hills to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Arrive in the evening and check in at your selected lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi & Batwa Cultural Experience
- Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking protocols.
Join a small group of up to 8 trekkers and a park ranger to begin your trek through Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Hike through challenging, muddy terrain and humid conditions at altitudes of up to 2000 meters in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Spend one hour in close proximity with the gorillas, observing their behavior and social dynamics—an unforgettable wildlife experience.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the forest before returning to the lodge to relax and soak in the stunning views.
In the evening, visit the Batwa community and learn about their traditional forest-dwelling lifestyle, or explore local tea plantations and the community’s inspirational hospital project.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala or Entebbe
- Begin your final day with an early breakfast at the lodge.
Check out and depart Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, driving through scenic landscapes dotted with rolling hills and rural communities.
Stop for lunch once again at the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara.
Visit the Mpambire drum makers, where you may purchase traditional Ugandan drums as souvenirs.
Continue the journey to Kampala or Entebbe, arriving in the early evening.
Transfer to your hotel or to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home.
