Itinerary

1. Day 1: Travel from Johannesburg to Pilanesberg National Park

   • Depart early morning from Johannesburg and travel northwest to Pilanesberg National Park.

   • Arrive at the park and take in the unique geological features of an ancient volcanic crater.

   • Check in at The Kingdom Resort and refresh before the afternoon safari.

   • Board an open-air safari vehicle and begin the first game drive in search of the Big Five: Leopard, Lion, Rhino, Buffalo, and Elephant.

   • Spot a variety of wildlife including predators and antelope while enjoying mountain views and the unspoiled African landscape.

   • Return to the lodge for dinner and a restful night surrounded by nature.

2. Day 2: Discover the Wilderness of Pilanesberg

   • Rise before dawn for a morning game drive guided by an expert ranger.

   • Return to the lodge for a full bush breakfast.

   • Spend midday at leisure: lounge by the pool, enjoy optional spa treatments, or photograph birds and small creatures around the lodge.

   • Conclude the day with a traditional South African dinner around the campfire under a star-filled sky.

3. Day 3: Explore, Relax, and Visit Sun City

   • Begin the morning with breakfast at the lodge.

   • Visit a nearby wildlife hide for silent animal observation or join a guided bush walk to learn about tracks, native plants, and insects.

   • Explore the birdwatching trails, with over 300 species present in Pilanesberg.

   • Transfer to the Sun City Resort, one of Southern Africa’s premier entertainment destinations.

   • Relax at the Valley of Waves with its artificial beach and water features.

   • Enjoy leisure time exploring Sun City's restaurants, shops, and attractions.

   • Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Return to Johannesburg

   • Wake up for a relaxed breakfast while enjoying the natural surroundings one final time.

   • Embark on a short morning game drive for any last sightings.

   • Check out from the lodge and begin the journey back to Johannesburg.

   • Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport with ample time for departure preparations.
