Itinerary – Mari-Mari Cultural Village Tour
- 09:00 AM – Pick up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu.
09:00 AM – Drive to Mari-Mari Cultural Village. Estimated travel time is 45 minutes.
10:00 AM – Arrive at the village and be welcomed by the village “Chief”.
10:05 AM – Participate in the traditional “Welcome Ceremony”.
10:10 AM – Visit the five traditional tribal homes:
Dusun House. Learn about rice wine making and bamboo cooking.
Rungus Longhouse. Observe beadwork and the communal lifestyle.
Lundayeh House. Discover salt production and traditional farming methods.
Bajau House. Explore seafaring equipment and traditional weaving.
Murut Longhouse. Experience blowpipe hunting and headhunter traditions.
12:00 PM – Watch a cultural performance featuring traditional music and dances after that Lunch.
