Itinerary

1. Day 1: Aktau to Airakty – Valley Camping Adventure

   • Begin your journey at 8:30 AM with pickup from Aktau Airport or at 9:00 AM from your hotel.

   • Arrive at the Redmaya Office for remaining payments, briefing, and a short rest.

   • Depart at 9:30 AM towards your first destination.

   • Explore Torysh (Valley of Balls) and marvel at its unique, spherical rock formations.

   • Visit Kokala (Jurassic Clays) and admire the striking purple-hued gorge.

   • Continue to Sherkala Mount, also known as the “Sphinx of Mangystau,” shaped like a giant yurt.

   • Trek through Airakty, the Valley of Castle-Shaped Mountains.

   • Set up tent camp amid the dramatic desert scenery.

   • Enjoy lunch and dinner at the campsite.

   Spend the night camping under the stars.

2. Day 2: Tuzbair Salt Flats and Yurt Stay

   • Travel to Tuzbair, exploring its upper and lower salt flats and the famous White Arch.

   • Continue to a Yurt Etno Camp, immersing yourself in Kazakh nomadic culture.

   Relax and engage with traditional customs and local hospitality.

3. Day 3: Sacred Sites and Canyon Camping

   • Visit Karaman-Ata Necropolis, home to one of the oldest underground mosques in Central Asia.

   • Stop in Janaozen to refuel and explore the local market.

   • Enjoy a cup of Kazakh tea and shop for authentic products.

   • Drive to Tiramisu Canyon, known for its layered, dessert-like mountain textures.

   • Camp at the canyon and enjoy stargazing after dinner.

4. Day 4: Bozjyra Canyon and Mars-Like Landscapes

   • Walk to the Bozjyra Canyon campsite and admire the iconic rocks seen on Kazakh currency.

   • Camp near the edge of the canyon with spectacular views of the surreal landscape.

5. Day 5: Bozjyra Fangs to Karagie Hollow – Return to Aktau

   • Begin with a morning climb to the Bozjyra Fangs, limestone towers with dramatic views.

   • Arrive at the Senek Dunes, perfect for walking, photography, and optional sandboarding.

   • Visit a traditional Camel Farm, taste camel milk and learn about its cultural importance.

   • Proceed to Karagie Hollow, one of the world’s deepest land depressions.

   • Conclude your expedition with a scenic drive back to Aktau City.

   • Drop off at hotels or transfer to the airport as needed.
