Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam nested Within its 3230 sq km. It's set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the south-east. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles, and many more just to mention a few. On this tour, you will see the big four.
Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
- mBegin the day with pick-up from the airport, ferry terminal, or hotel in Dar es Salaam.
Drive directly to Mikumi National Park, with a stop in Morogoro for lunch.
Continue the journey to Mikumi, which takes approximately six hours.
Upon arrival, check in and rest at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
In the late afternoon, visit a Maasai Boma for a two-hour cultural experience.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
- Start the day with an early breakfast.
Embark on a full-day game drive across the expansive plains of Mikumi National Park.
Look out for wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, impalas, and other savannah species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites within the park.
Continue the game drive until late afternoon.
Return to Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Mikumi to Dar es Salaam
- Have an early breakfast at the camp.
Begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town.
Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, choose a drop-off at the ferry terminal for the second or last ferry to Zanzibar, or at the airport or hotel, depending on your onward travel plans.
