Day 1: Hanoi – Nam Hong Village – Ho Thau (Lunch, Dinner)
- Depart from Hanoi early in the morning.
Travel to Hoang Su Phi, a remote and scenic district in Ha Giang Province.
Stop for lunch en route to refresh and refuel.
Proceed to Nam Hong Village in Thong Nguyen Commune, approximately 40 km from the town center.
Explore Nam Hong Village, home to 37 Red Dao ethnic households.
Discover terraced rice fields recognized as a national scenic site and learn about the unique culture of the Red Dao.
Visit the ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees of Phin Ho, renowned for their fragrant highland tea.
Continue to Ho Thau.
Check in at a local homestay.
Enjoy dinner with the host family, followed by cultural interaction or a traditional Red Dao herbal bath.
Overnight at homestay.

Day 2: Chieu Lau Thi – Coc Pai – Bac Ha (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
- Wake up early and have breakfast at the homestay.
Drive to Chieu Lau Thi peak (2,402 meters) in Ho Thau.
Trek and enjoy the cloud-chasing experience with panoramic mountain views.
Take photos at the summit and marvel at the cloud layers that drift around the forested peaks.
Descend the mountain around 10:00 AM and head toward Coc Pai Town.
Enjoy lunch in Coc Pai.
Depending on the rice harvest and weather conditions, visit one of the following:
Phung Village – Known for golden terraced rice fields and scenic early morning views.
Suoi Thau Steppe – Located in Nan Ma, this area is likened to a European meadow with untouched landscapes.
Continue the journey to Bac Ha Town in Lao Cai Province.
Check in at a local homestay.
Savor a traditional Bac Ha dinner featuring local ingredients.
Spend the evening exploring the peaceful town.
Overnight at homestay.

Day 3: Bac Ha Market – Hoang A Tuong Palace – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
- Wake up and breathe in the crisp morning air.
Have breakfast and check out of the homestay.
Visit Bac Ha Market, the most vibrant ethnic market in the Northwest.
Observe the colorful traditional costumes, taste local snacks and wine, and interact with ethnic groups including the H’mong, Tay, Dao, and Nung.
Proceed to Hoang A Tuong Palace, the former residence of the H’mong King, built in 1920 by the French and Chinese.
Explore the architectural fusion of Eastern and Western styles.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Depart for Hanoi in the early afternoon.
Stop in Yen Bai for a short break and an opportunity to purchase local specialties.
Arrive in Hanoi and conclude the tour with a drop-off at the original meeting point.
