Full-Day Itinerary: Samarkand – Penjikent – Seven Lakes – Samarkand
- Depart Samarkand early morning and transfer to Jartepa border.
Complete border crossing procedures, which typically take between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Meet the guide and driver on the Tajikistan side of the border.
Transfer to the town of Penjikent.
Visit Rudaki Museum to learn about the famous Persian poet and the region’s cultural heritage.
Explore the ancient ruins of Penjikent, an important archaeological site of the Sogdian civilization.
Proceed to the Seven Lakes, also known as Marguzor Lakes, located in the Fann Mountains.
