Day 01

Explore Faiyum's Ancient Pyramids and Museum

• Start with the Maydum Pyramid, built by the last King of the 3rd Dynasty, King Huni. A visit to this collapsed pyramid is truly worthwhile. It is one of those sites that had, and still keeps, lots of secrets.

• Make your way to the Hawara Pyramid, which was made for Amenemhet III of the 12th Dynasty.

• Visit the remains of the old Palace of Labrant, which used to contain hundreds of rooms above and under the ground.

• Explore the Lahoun and Lisht Pyramids.

• Proceed to the Kom Oshim Museum, which has recently been renovated. It is now home to many artifacts.

• Stop by a nice restaurant for lunch during the trip (optional).
