Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Central Serengeti National Park

   • Meet your professional safari guide at your hotel in Arusha between 07:00 AM and 08:00 AM.

   • Receive a short safari briefing before boarding a 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal game viewing.

   • Begin your scenic drive through rural Tanzania toward Serengeti National Park.

   • Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch en route or upon arrival at Naabi Hill Gate.

   • Complete park formalities and enter the iconic Serengeti plains.

   • Embark on an exciting afternoon game drive in the Seronera region, known for big cats and a wide range of wildlife.

   • Spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and antelopes.

   • Arrive at your lodge or camp by evening for dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2: Full Day in Serengeti and Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Wake up before sunrise and set out for an early morning game drive when predators are most active.

   • Explore the Seronera Valley and focus on areas where big cats are likely to be seen, such as riverbanks and kopjes.

   • Return for breakfast at your lodge or enjoy a bush breakfast in the wilderness, depending on your accommodation.

   • Continue with a mid-morning game drive across the Serengeti’s rich ecosystems.

   • Track wildlife and, during migration season, follow the movement of wildebeest and zebras.

   • Stop for a scenic picnic lunch in the park to maximize wildlife viewing time.

   • Resume your game drive and begin your journey out of Serengeti National Park in the mid-afternoon.

   • Ascend into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arrive at your lodge or camp near the crater rim.

   Have dinner and relax while preparing for the crater exploration on the next day.

3. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive and Return to Arusha

   • Eat an early breakfast and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater around 06:00 AM – 07:00 AM.

   • Explore the crater floor for 5 to 6 hours, observing one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa.

   • Spot the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the elusive black rhinoceros.

   • View hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles in their natural habitats.

   • Discover the rich birdlife, including seasonal flamingos and a variety of raptors.

   • Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near a hippo pool inside the crater.

   • Ascend from the crater in the early afternoon and begin your return drive to Arusha.

   • Arrive back in Arusha between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM for drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
