10-Hour Tour from Tbilisi to Gori, Borjomi and Bakuriani
- Depart from Tbilisi early in the morning to begin the journey westward.
Drive to Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, located approximately 1.5 hours from Tbilisi.
Visit the Stalin Museum to view personal items, official gifts, and rare photographs of the Soviet leader.
Walk through Stalin’s preserved childhood home to understand his humble beginnings.
Explore his bulletproof train carriage, used during important wartime travels.
Continue with a scenic drive to Borjomi via Khashuri, passing valleys, small towns, and enjoying views of the Lesser Caucasus mountains.
Arrive at Borjomi Central Park to stroll through forested paths, taste Borjomi’s famous mineral water directly from the spring, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Optionally take the cable car for a bird’s-eye view over the river gorge and park below.
Begin a 30-minute drive uphill to Bakuriani, a serene mountain resort surrounded by pine forests.
