Day 01

Arrival and Angkor Wat Sunset

• Arrive on the afternoon flight at Siem Reap International Airport and meet your Siem Reap tour guide.
• Start exploring Angkor Wat, a World Heritage Site. It was originally a Hindu temple and is the largest monument in the world, built in the early 12th century by the Khmer King Suryavarman II.
• Walk along the causeway from the front side facing west, which is believed to be the direction of Lord Vishnu.
• Continue into the central section, an amazing hall with Buddhist statues and galleries depicting stories from the Indian epic.
• Climb up to visit Bakheng Hill for a bright sunset from the top of the temple hill, and enjoy the view from the hilltop.
• Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 02

Angkor Thom, Bayon and Ta Prohm

• Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the great city adorned with Asura and Devata statues holding the serpent on each side.

• Head towards Bayon Temple, which features the massive faces of the Bodhisattva of Compassion, Avalokitesvara or Lokesvara, associated with the 12th-century King Jayavarman VII.

• Walk along the gallery and observe ancient paintings and relics.

• Continue to Ta Prohm Temple, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the mother of Jayavarman VII.

• Transfer back to the airport for your departure flight.
