Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
- Wake up early and prepare to depart at 6:30 am.
- Drive from Arusha to Serengeti National Park.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Serengeti picnic site upon arrival.
- Embark on an afternoon game drive to spot wildlife.
- Proceed to the campsite where the team will set up tents and sleeping arrangements.
- Rest under the stars in a budget camping setup.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park.
Accommodation: Budget camping.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park
- Have an early breakfast or a cup of coffee.
- Begin a morning game drive at 6:30 am to explore more of the park.
- Return to the campsite for brunch.
- Take an afternoon game drive while exiting Serengeti National Park.
- Drive towards Ngorongoro Crater for overnight stay outside the crater rim.
Main Destination: Serengeti National Park.
Accommodation: Budget camping at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
- Depart early for a full 6-hour game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater.
- Explore diverse habitats including montane forest, grasslands, acacia forests, and swamps.
- Observe a wide variety of wildlife including the Big Five, hippos, crocodiles, and plains game.
- Enjoy lunch inside the crater.
- Transfer to Mrimba Palm Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Maasai Culture at Osiligilai Maasai Lodge, West Kilimanjaro
- Eat breakfast at the lodge.
- Transfer to Osiligilai Maasai Lodge near West Kilimanjaro.
- Receive a warm welcome with traditional Maasai songs upon arrival.
- Take a guided tour of the area and enjoy a delicious lunch.
- Join a nature walk with a Maasai guide to learn about local medicinal plants.
- Visit a Maasai boma to experience traditional life and cattle culture.
- Participate in cultural activities including spear throwing and tasting traditional Maasai practices.

Day 5: Departure

- Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.

Know Before You Go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.

The operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.

Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha. Or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).

A transfer from and back to the airport is included.

Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
