Description
We'll explore the mighty mountains of Eryri/Snowdonia and learn about the legends of Wales. We'll visit the ancient castles built by the English to subdue the Welsh in the late 1200s. We'll see the sweeping coastline and massive sea cliffs of Anglesey and learn about the industrial era when 'Wales roofed the World'.
As we drive, you'll learn the stories of the history, culture and language of Wales from a local's viewpoint and you'll learn how Wales has managed to keep its Celtic identity despite being the neighbour of one of the most powerful countries in the world.
This driving tour stops at scenic, historical and cultural points of interest. It starts at 08. 30 and runs for approx 8 hours.
My late model, fully licensed Mercedes sedans and MPVs feature climate control and leather seating and can take up to 7 passengers. The following itinerary can be customized.

Holyhead Port cruise ship shore excursion - The Best of North Wales
A typical itinerary is as follows.
- 08:30 - You will be bussed from your ship to Holyhead Port passenger terminal, to meet your driver guide.
- 08:45 - South Stack lighthouse and sea cliffs. In spring, a nesting ground for over 14000 seabirds including Puffins, Guillemots and Razorbills.
- 10:00 - Caernarfon Castle. The UNESO World Heritage Site is Europe's most important example of medieval military architecture.
- 11:15—Drive through Eryri/Thge Snowdonia National Park, which features towering mountains, glistening lakes, green valleys, legends and maybe dragons!
- 13:00 - We arrive at the bustling town of Conwy with its UNESCO Castle, Elizabethan trader's townhouse, the smallest house in Britain and pretty fishing quay. Includes time for lunch.
- 15:30 - A photo opp and stop at the village with the longest name!
- 16:30 - Arrive back at Holyhead Port.
