Day 01: Welcome to Colombia! Arrival in Bogotá

- Upon landing, you’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
- Settle in and relax after your journey, or take a casual stroll through the neighbourhood to soak up your first impressions of this high-altitude city nestled in the Andes.

Day 02: Bogotá City Tour & Flight to Medellín
- This morning, explore Bogotá’s historic and cultural heart.
- Visit the colonial district of La Candelaria, marvel at the gold artefacts in the world-renowned Gold Museum, and enjoy panoramic views from Monserrate hill.
- In the afternoon, you’ll fly to Medellín, once considered turbulent but now a model of innovation and resilience.
- Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the city’s vibrant evening atmosphere.

Day 03: Medellín Full-Day City Tour
- Discover Medellín’s inspiring transformation as you visit its emblematic neighbourhoods and public spaces.

Day 04: Coffee Experience: Taste Colombia!
- Today, venture into the nearby countryside for an immersive coffee experience.
- Learn about the entire process—from bean to cup—on a working coffee farm.
- Walk among lush plantations, meet local farmers, and discover what makes Colombian coffee world-famous. Of course, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting session to savour different aromas and flavours.
- Return to Medellín in the afternoon with a new appreciation for Colombia’s liquid gold.

Day 05: El Peñol & Guatapé Tour
- Travel east of Medellín to one of Colombia’s most picturesque areas.
- First, visit the towering El Peñol rock—climb its 740 steps for panoramic views of the lakes and mountains.
- Then, explore the colourful lakeside town of Guatapé, known for its vibrantly painted zócalos (baseboard murals).
- Stroll its cobbled streets, enjoy lunch by the water, and soak in the laid-back charm before returning to Medellín.

Day 06: Flight to Santa Marta & Transfer to Hotel
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Santa Marta, the gateway to Colombia’s Caribbean coast and Tayrona National Park.
- Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel to relax and enjoy the tropical vibes.
- Take a swim, walk along the beach, or unwind as the rhythm of the Caribbean sets the tone for the next part of your journey.

Day 07: Full-Day Tour of Tayrona National Park
- Begin your day with a scenic drive along Colombia’s Caribbean coast to El Zaino, the main entrance of Tayrona National Park. A short walk takes you to Cañaveral beach for breathtaking ocean views, followed by a 1-hour guided hike through lush tropical forest to Arrecife beach.
- After a lunch break (not included), continue hiking past beautiful beaches like Arenillas and La Piscina, ending at Cabo San Juan—one of the park’s most iconic spots—where you can relax and swim. The tour includes around 3–4 hours of hiking with moderate difficulty and high humidity, so proper footwear, sunscreen, and a hat are essential. Swimming is not allowed at Arrecife beach due to strong currents.
Please note: Tayrona Park closes three times yearly for ecological restoration (Feb 1–15, Jun 1–15, late Oct).

Day 08: Transfer to Cartagena & Half-Day City Tour
- Journey by road along the Caribbean coast to Cartagena, Colombia’s crown jewel of colonial heritage.
- After arriving and settling in, enjoy a guided tour of the city’s highlights.
- Walk the cobbled streets of the walled Old Town, admire the vibrant facades, and learn the stories of centuries past. As the sun sets, the city comes alive with music, light, and romance—Cartagena is unforgettable.

Day 09: Rosario Islands Day Trip
- Set off from Cartagena’s "La Bodeguita" pier at 08:30 for a relaxing day in the Rosario Islands, with a scenic speedboat ride to the idyllic San Pedro de Majagua.
- Upon arrival, enjoy a tropical fruit cocktail before unwinding on white-sand beaches, swimming in turquoise waters, or participating in optional activities like snorkelling (not included). A typical Caribbean lunch featuring coconut rice and fresh fish is served on the island.
- After a leisurely afternoon in paradise, return to Cartagena late. This shared tour includes port taxes, round-trip boat transport, a bilingual guide, and lunch. Please arrive at the pier by 08:00 for check-in.
