Day 01
Gorilla Trekking Adventure from Kigali to Bwindi
- Early in the morning at 3:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali. You will be briefed about the journey and afterwards start the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. Bwindi Forest is home to half of the world's population of mountain gorillas.
- You will arrive in good time to attend the general briefing about the dos and don'ts of gorilla trekking. Afterwards, you will be allocated to the gorilla family you will visit.
- Together with a park ranger guide, you will set off into the forest for your gorilla trekking experience, which will last between 3-6 hours in total.
- This time, of course, depends on the feeding and movement of the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will be allowed to spend a maximum of 1 hour with the gorillas once you find them.
- This will be the time to watch their daily activities, learn about their behaviour, and take photos. On return from tracking, you will be transferred back to Kigali in Rwanda and dropped off at your hotel.
