The itinerary

Day 01

Old City Icherisheher Photo Walk

Pick up from any address or arranged meeting point within Baku. After meeting at the arranged meeting point, your English-speaking professional Photographer will discuss the plan with you and drive to Old City-Icherisheher.

Your photo tour will start in front of the Double Gate, and you will take photos of the historical monuments of the Old City, such as Maiden Tower, Bazaar Square, Saint Bartholomew Church, Juma Mosque, Murtuza Mosque, Bukhara and Multani Caravanserais, Muhammad Mosque, old hamams, the Miniature Book Museum, Vahid's Garden, Agha Mikayil Bath, Shirvanshahs Palace, and other important historical buildings.

Those narrow alleys and stone-paved streets are ideal for walking tours, photography, and experiencing the authentic atmosphere of historic Baku. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a maze of narrow alleys, ancient mosques, caravanserais, and traditional houses.

Notable landmarks include the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, offering rich textures and historical depth for your photos. Guests will spend approximately 3 to 4 hours here for a photo session with their private Photographer.

Day 02

Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre Shoot

The tour continues to Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre. It is a 15-minute drive from the Old City to the Centre.

Designed by Zaha Hadid, this futuristic building's flowing curves and reflective surfaces make it a favorite for architectural photography, especially during golden hour. Guests will spend approximately 2 hours here for a photo session with their private Photographer.

Day 03

Baku Boulevard and Carpet Museum Views

The next photo session stop is the Baku Boulevard and Carpet Museum area. It is a 15-minute drive from the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Centre to this point.

This seaside promenade is perfect for capturing both tranquil and dynamic scenes. The Baku Eye Ferris wheel offers panoramic views of the city and the Caspian Sea, ideal for wide-angle shots.

Guests will spend approximately 2 hours here for a photo session with their private Photographer.

Day 04

Highland Park and Flame Towers Panorama

The last stop of the tour is Highland Park (3 Flame Towers). It is a 15-minute drive from the Boulevard to this destination.

For sweeping panoramic views of Baku, Upland Park provides an elevated perspective, especially stunning at sunrise or sunset. It's an excellent spot to capture the contrast between the city's modern skyline and its historic core.

These three flame-shaped skyscrapers are Baku's modern icons. By day, they reflect the sky; by night, they light up with dynamic LED displays, creating dramatic contrasts against the skyline.

Highland Park, also known as Dagustu Park or Upland Park, is one of Baku's most cherished vantage points, offering panoramic views of the city and the Caspian Sea. Perched atop a hill, it provides a serene escape with lush greenery, historical landmarks, and a tranquil atmosphere.

From Highland Park, visitors can enjoy sweeping vistas of Baku's skyline, including the Flame Towers, Baku Boulevard, and the Caspian Sea. It's particularly stunning at sunset when the city is bathed in golden hues.

The park features terraced gardens, shaded walkways, and sculptures, including tributes to historical figures like Bahram Gur and General Azi Aslanov. Guests will spend approximately 2 hours here for a photo session with their private Photographer. We complete the photo tour here and return to the meeting point.

What to bring

As this is a photo session tour, guests are asked to bring their own different clothes and shoes to take pictures in different views.

Know before you go

Guests must be ready in the hotel lobby or at the arranged meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
The general Photo Session Tour duration is 11 hours, but it can take up to 12-13 hours in order to give you an unforgettable experience along the way.
