Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
- Begin your day with breakfast and a detailed briefing from your guide at the hotel.
Drive approximately 1.5 hours to the Lemosho Park Gate at 2,100 meters.
Complete the registration process at Londorossi Gate.
Start your trek through the lush rainforest toward Mti Mkubwa Camp at 2,750 meters.
Hike for approximately 3 to 4 hours covering a distance of 7 kilometers.
Arrive at the camp where porters will set up tents and the chef will prepare lunch.
Relax in the forest environment before enjoying dinner.
Attend an evening briefing with your guide about the next day’s trek.
Spend the night at Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Day 2: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
- Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Begin your trek to Shira 1 Camp at 3,500 meters.
Trek for 5 to 6 hours across the moorland, covering 8 kilometers.
Admire views of the western face of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Arrive at Shira 1 Camp where porters will set up tents and the chef will serve lunch.
Take time to rest and enjoy the highland scenery.
Dine in the evening and receive a briefing about the next stage.

Day 3: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp
- Begin your day with breakfast and prepare for the next leg of the trek.
Hike 10 kilometers over 5 to 7 hours toward Shira 2 Camp at 3,850 meters.
Enjoy easy trekking conditions and incredible views across the plateau.
Reach Shira 2 Camp where tents will be set up and lunch served.
Relax in the afternoon and enjoy dinner in the evening.

Day 4: Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp
- Wake up early for breakfast and prepare for a long day of trekking.
Ascend to the Lava Tower at 4,630 meters over a semi-desert terrain.
Hike for approximately 7 to 8 hours covering 10 kilometers in total.
Eat lunch near Lava Tower after the challenging ascent.
Begin a 2-hour descent of 680 meters to Barranco Camp at 3,900 meters.
Take in magnificent views of the Western Breach during descent.
Settle into camp, enjoy dinner, and receive an evening briefing.
Spend the night at Barranco Camp.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Start your day early with breakfast before tackling the Barranco Wall.
Ascend the steep and iconic Wall before descending into Karanga Valley.
Trek for 4 to 5 hours over 6 kilometers of alpine desert terrain.
Arrive at Karanga Camp at 4,035 meters where lunch will be prepared.
Participate in a short acclimatization hike to Barafu Camp and return.
Relax in the afternoon and enjoy a hot dinner.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
- Eat breakfast and prepare for your hike to Barafu Camp at 4,640 meters.
Cover 4 kilometers over 4 to 5 hours through rocky alpine desert terrain.
Focus on slow, steady walking to aid acclimatization.
Reach Barafu Camp where tents will be prepared and lunch served.
Rest during the afternoon to conserve energy for the summit attempt.
Attend a final briefing on the summit climb after dinner.
Try to sleep early in preparation for the night ascent.
Spend the night at Barafu Camp.

Day 7: Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
- Wake up at 11:30 PM for tea and biscuits before beginning the ascent.
Trek northwest through scree toward Stella Point at 5,685 meters.
Reach Stella Point after approximately 6 hours and enjoy a brief rest.
Continue for 2 hours to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters, the highest point in Africa.
Spend limited time at the summit due to extreme cold and fatigue.
Descend back to Barafu Camp over 3 hours for a short rest and lunch.
Resume descent to Mweka Camp at 3,080 meters, covering 12 kilometers total.
Arrive at camp, eat dinner, and rest after a challenging but rewarding day.
Spend the night at Mweka Camp.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
- Wake up for breakfast and prepare for your final descent.
Hike for 3 to 4 hours through the rainforest, covering 10 kilometers.
Arrive at Mweka Gate at 1,640 meters where your trek officially ends.
Celebrate with the GTE team and receive a summit certificate.
Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest.
