Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrive in Addis Ababa and Travel to Halaba Village
- Arrive at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
Drive 250 kilometers south to Alaba Kulito.
Visit and photograph the tribal people of Halaba, known for their colorfully painted huts, traditional hats, and red pepper production.
Overnight at Sera Lodge.

Day 2 – Travel from Halaba Kulito to Dorze Village and Konso
- Have breakfast at the lodge.
Drive to Arba Minch.
Stop to photograph the Wolita, Dorze, and Konso communities along the way.
Overnight at Kanta Lodge in Konso.

Day 3 – Explore from Konso to Turmi
- Drive towards Turmi.
Visit and photograph the Tsemai, Benna, and Hamer people along the route.
Overnight at Turmi Lodge.

Day 4 – Discover the Villages of the Hamer People
- Dedicate the entire day to photographing the Hamer tribes in their villages.
Observe the distinctive hairstyles and leather skirts worn by Hamer women.
Overnight at the same lodge in Turmi.

Day 5 – Excursion to Omorate and Return to Turmi
- Drive to Omorate in the morning.
Visit and photograph the Dasenech people, known for their scarification and remote lifestyle.
Return to Turmi in the late afternoon.
Overnight at the same lodge.

Day 6 – Visit Karo Village and Return to Turmi
- Drive to Karo Village after breakfast.
Photograph the Karo people, renowned for their intricate body painting and riverbank lifestyle.
Return to Turmi in the afternoon.
Overnight at the same lodge.

Day 7 – Travel from Turmi to Jinka via Key Afer Market (if Thursday)
- Drive to Jinka.
Stop at the colorful Key Afer market if the day is Thursday.
Photograph the Ari, Benna, Hamer, and Tsemai people who gather for the market.
Overnight at Jinka Resort.

Day 8 – Excursion to Mursi Village and Return to Jinka
- Depart in the morning for Mago National Park.
Visit and photograph the Mursi people, especially the women who wear clay lip plates.
Return to Jinka in the afternoon.
Photograph the Ari people in and around the town.
Overnight at the same resort.

Day 9 – Drive from Jinka to Arbore Village and Continue to Arba Minch
- Depart for Arba Minch.
Stop at Arbore Village to photograph the nomadic Arbore people, known for their papyrus-built houses.
Continue the drive to Arba Minch.
Overnight at Paradise Lodge.

Day 10 – Return to Addis Ababa and Departure
- Drive back to Addis Ababa via Debre Zeyit.
Pass several lakes of the Great East African Rift Valley and observe the Oromo people along the way.
Attend a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with cultural dance performances.
Transfer to the airport for your international departure.
