The itinerary

Day 01

Dar es Salaam to Mikumi and Evening Game Drive

Pick up from your place of stay in Dar es Salaam early in the morning, around 5:00 AM.
Drive to Mikumi National Park on a 6-hour journey, including a lunch stop in Morogoro town.
Arrive in Mikumi National Park in the afternoon.
Embark on an evening game drive, exploring areas like Mkata Plain, Kisungura, and the Hippo Dam for fantastic animal sightings.
Return to your accommodation at Camp Bastian Mikumi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Meals: Half board (HB).

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive and Night Safari in Mikumi

Enjoy breakfast at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
Set out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch.
Spot various animals, including lions, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffes, zebras, and elephants.
The open Mkata Floodplain offers fantastic wildlife viewing and resembles the Serengeti Plains.
Rest and relax after the game drive and prepare for the night safari.
Depart for the night game drive at around 8:00 PM, exploring different parts of the park.
Return to Camp Bastian Mikumi around 11:30 PM.

Meals: Full board (FB).

Day 03

Return to Dar es Salaam

Enjoy breakfast at Camp Bastian Mikumi.
Drive back to Dar es Salaam, with a lunch stop in Morogoro town.
On arrival in Dar es Salaam, transfer to the ferry for Zanzibar or drop off at the airport or hotel.
