Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Begin the day with an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha.

   • Depart around 6:30 AM in a 4x4 safari vehicle with your experienced guide.

   • Drive 2 to 3 hours through scenic countryside to Tarangire National Park.

   • Arrive mid-morning and begin your game drive through the park.

   • Spot large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated area inside the park.

   • Continue your game drive into the afternoon.

   • Depart the park in the late afternoon and head to your lodge or tented camp near or inside the park.

   • Check in, enjoy dinner, and relax for the evening.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha

   • Wake up early and have breakfast at your lodge.

   • Depart around 6:00 AM and drive 2 to 3 hours to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Arrive at the gate and complete entry procedures.

   • Begin the descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.

   • Explore the crater floor, a unique habitat home to lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, wildebeest, zebras, and abundant birdlife.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot within the crater, often near a hippo pool.

   • Continue the game drive in the afternoon, covering various areas of the crater.

   • Ascend from the crater in the mid to late afternoon.

   • Begin the drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
