Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Arrival and Full-Day Game Drive in Tsavo East

   • Depart early morning (between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM) from Mombasa, Diani Beach, or Malindi.

   • Drive to Tsavo East National Park via Bachuma Gate.

   • Begin a morning game drive en route to your lodge or camp.

   • Spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and the iconic red-dust-covered elephants of Tsavo.

   • Visit Aruba Dam, a popular spot for observing wildlife.

   • Arrive at the lodge or camp around midday for lunch and some rest.

   • Recommended accommodation: Sentrim Tsavo Camp or Voi Safari Lodge.

   • Enjoy an afternoon game drive from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

   • Look out for predators such as lions, cheetahs, and possibly leopards.

   • Capture sunset views across the savannah—perfect for photography.

   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

2. Day 2 – Morning Game Drive and Departure

   • Start with an optional early morning game drive around 6:00 AM to increase chances of predator sightings and see wildlife during peak activity.

   • Return to the lodge for breakfast.

   • Check out and enjoy a final game drive while exiting the park.

   • Explore a different route or region of the park depending on your exit point, such as Manyani Gate if proceeding toward Nairobi.

   • Depart Tsavo East and travel to your next destination (Nairobi or the Kenyan coast).
