Day 01
Flight to Cappadocia and Underground Cities, Valleys, and Avanos
- Your day begins with an early morning airport transfer from your hotel to Istanbul Airport, where you will take your flight from Istanbul to Kayseri.
- Our driver will be waiting for you at the airport to take you to explore the enchanting landscapes of Cappadocia. You will have a chance to see the highlights of the Red Tour Cappadocia and the Green Tour Cappadocia in 2 days.
- Our first stop is the Underground City, which the people of Byzantine Cappadocia built for protection from Muslim Arab raids during the four centuries of Arab-Byzantine wars (780-1180).
- Then explore Devrent Valley, also called the "Imagination Valley." Marvel at the whimsical rock formations that resemble animals and surreal shapes. This valley sparks creativity and imagination, inviting you to see nature's artistry in a new light.
- Next, we head to Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley, famous for its extraordinary fairy chimney rock formations. Learn about the geological processes that shaped these unique pillars and the cultural significance they hold in the region's history.
- Visit the charming town of Avanos, renowned for its pottery craftsmanship. Witness a mesmerizing pottery demonstration by local artisans, showcasing the traditional techniques passed down through generations.
