Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

   • Meet your private Superior African Safari tour guide.

   • Transfer to Planet Lodge in Arusha for check-in.

   • Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure.

   • Discuss your travel preferences and schedule with your guide to personalize your safari experience.

2. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Be picked up by your game driver from Arusha or directly from the airport.

   • Depart for Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch.

   • Drive approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to the park.

   • Explore Tarangire’s unique wildlife, including elephants, lions, monkeys, and over 550 bird species.

   • Participate in observational activities related to local python populations.

   • Transfer to Tarangire Sopa Lodge for a bath, dinner, and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

   • Enjoy breakfast at the lodge.

   • Depart for Serengeti National Park with packed lunch.

   • Travel for about 4 hours to reach the Serengeti entrance gate.

   • Conduct a game drive en route to the Central Serengeti and Seronera River area.

   • Observe wildlife including lions, hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and more.

   • View the park's signature baobab trees and towering acacia.

   • Stay overnight in Serengeti (lodge or camp as arranged).

4. Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

   • Start the day with breakfast at your lodge or camp.

   • Embark on a full-day game drive through the expansive Serengeti plains.

   • Watch the great Wildebeest Migration if traveling during the right season.

   • View a wide variety of wildlife inhabiting the park year-round.

   • Explore different regions of the Serengeti to experience varied ecosystems.

   • Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Eat breakfast and depart Serengeti with a packed lunch.

   • Drive approximately 3 hours (155 km) to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Participate in a game drive while en route.

   • Take a guided walking safari to visit a Maasai village and learn about their culture.

   • Observe birds and small creatures in the area.

   • Arrive at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour and Departure

   • Begin with breakfast at 08:00 AM.

   • Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

   • Discover a dense population of wildlife, including all members of the Big Five.

   • Ascend from the crater in the early afternoon.

   • Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
