Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival Day

   • You are welcome in Tanzania! Your Superior African Safari tour guide will meet you at the Kilimanjaro airport and drive you to Planet Lodges Arusha. 
   • You will spend the rest of the day to yourself and do as you like in Arusha! This private safari is distinctive. In addition to receiving professional guidance from a private travel advisor, you will have total control over the itinerary. 
   • Regardless of whether you enjoy getting up early or not, discuss your plans with your guide on the first day.

2. Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

   • Your safari adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Arusha hotel. After a briefing, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its vast elephant population and ancient baobab trees. 
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats and spotting a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. A picnic lunch will be served in the park. In the late afternoon, you will check into Tarangire Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to see wildlife and enjoy the changing landscapes. 
   • Arrive in the Serengeti in time for an afternoon game drive, where you can witness the vast savannah teeming with wildlife, including the famous wildebeest migration if the timing is right. Arrive at Serengeti Halisi Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

4. Day 4: Full Day - Serengeti National Park

   • Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives. The Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife and dramatic scenery, offering chances to see predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of herbivores like wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, continuing your game drives in the afternoon. Return to Serengeti Halisi Camp for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

   • After an early breakfast, you will have another game drive in the Serengeti before heading towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a half-day game drive. 
   • Enjoy a picnic lunch by the crater floor before ascending then you will drive back to Arusha with wildlife viewing opportunities along the way. 
   • Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or a visit to a local market. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
