Day 01

Arrival in Lusaka and Safari Briefing

Arrive at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka.
Meet and greet by your safari team.
Transfer to a lodge or comfortable campsite in Lusaka.
Receive a full safari briefing and equipment check.
Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 02

Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park

Depart early for Lower Zambezi National Park (approximately 4-5 hours).
Arrive and check in at a riverside camp or tented chalet.
Enjoy lunch and some rest.
In the afternoon, take part in a guided walking safari or game drive.
Spot elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and a range of birdlife.
Have dinner by the river under the stars.

Overnight stay in Lower Zambezi.

Day 03

Canoeing, Fishing, and Safari Activities in Lower Zambezi

Choose from a variety of activities:

Morning canoeing safari along the Zambezi River.
Fishing excursion (catch-and-release).

Traditional game drive through the park.

Return to camp for dinner and storytelling by the fire.

Day 05

Full-Day Safari in Kafue's Busanga Plains

Begin with an early breakfast.
Depart for a full-day game drive to the Busanga Plains, known for high concentrations of wildlife.
Expect to see lions, leopards, elephants, roan antelope, and possibly cheetahs.
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the wild.
Return to camp in the evening for a hearty dinner.

Overnight stay in Kafue.

Day 06

Return to Lusaka or Transfer to Livingstone

Have a relaxed morning breakfast.

Depending on your departure plan:

Drive back to Lusaka for your onward flight.
Alternatively, transfer to Livingstone for an extended stay or flight out.
Optional activities in Livingstone include a visit to Victoria Falls, a sunset Zambezi cruise, or cultural excursions (can be arranged in advance).

Cash and payments: bring some cash in USD or Zambian Kwacha for tips, drinks, or local crafts. Some areas may not accept cards.
Connectivity: expect limited mobile signal and no Wi-Fi in remote camps. Embrace the chance to disconnect and reconnect with nature.
