The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Addis Ababa and Flight to Arba Minch

Arrive at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
Transfer to Terminal 1 for your flight to Arbaminch.
Upon arrival in Arbaminch, all ground services will be waiting for you.
Visit the Dorze people, known for their cultivation of Enset (False Banana), their large huts, and colorful cotton clothes.

Day 02

Lake Chamo, Konso Villages, and Drive to Jinka

Take a morning boat trip on Lake Chamo in the Rift Valley to visit the famous "Crocodile Market," where you can observe large African crocodiles, hippopotamuses, and various water birds.
Drive to Konso to visit the villages of the Konso people, known for their colorful hand-woven cotton clothes and unique rock terraces.
If the day is Thursday, stop at Key Afer to experience the vibrant multicultural market in the Lower Omo Valley, attended by tribes such as the Ari, Benna, Hamer, and Tsemai.
Continue the drive to Jinka.

Day 03

Mago National Park, Mursi Village, and Turmi

Take a morning excursion to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi people, known for the iconic clay lip plates worn by the women.
Return to Jinka for lunch.
After lunch, drive to the territory of the Hamar people in Turmi.

Day 04

Omorate, Dasenech Encounters, and Return to Arba Minch

Visit Omo Rate to meet the Dasenech people, the southernmost group in Ethiopia, known for their scarification practices.
Drive back to Arbaminch, stopping to explore the villages of the nomadic Erbore or Tsemai people. These tribes are known for building houses from papyrus.

Day 05

Flight to Addis Ababa and Farewell Dinner

Take a morning flight from Arbaminch to Addis Ababa.
Before departure, enjoy a farewell dinner at one of Addis Ababa's best traditional restaurants, where you can watch folkloric dance performances and sample a variety of Ethiopian dishes.
After dinner, transfer to the airport for your departure.
