The itinerary

Day 01

Bratislava, Slovak Castles, and the High Tatras

The tour starts with a private pick-up from your hotel in Vienna or Vienna Airport. You will then drive to the Slovak capital, Bratislava, where you will have the opportunity to see this beautiful city on the Danube over the course of a few hours.
We then head north to discover more of what Slovakia has to offer, with short photo stops at Beckov, Trenčín, and Strečno Castle. The tour continues east, with a stop for a late lunch at your own expense at a traditional sheep farm, where you can taste traditional cheese and cakes and enjoy the unique atmosphere of animals walking around you.
After this remarkable experience, you will travel to Slovakia's pride - the High Tatras - with your first stop at Slovakia's most famous lake, Štrbské Pleso, where you will have time for a short photo stop. Overnight stay in a 4-star hotel in the High Tatras.

Day 02

Lomnický Peak, Vlkolínec, Esztergom, and Budapest

Start the morning with breakfast at the hotel and set off to take a cable car to the highest point in Slovakia - Lomnický Peak, 2,634 m - where you will see the beauty of Slovakia.
After this unique experience, you will travel to Vlkolínec, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre hidden in the mountains, where you will be able to see traditional houses with people still living in them.
After visiting the famous peak and Vlkolínec, you will begin your journey to Budapest with a stop at the famous Esztergom Basilica, which used to be the seat of Hungarian kings. Arrival in Budapest will be in the evening.
