Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi (Kenya) or Arusha (Tanzania)
- Arrival at Airport: You’ll be met by your safari company representative at Nairobi (Kenya) or Arusha (Tanzania) airport.
- Transfer to Your Accommodation: Head to your hotel/lodge for a briefing on the trip and a chance to relax.
- Nairobi: City tour, visit local markets, or enjoy a cultural dinner showcasing traditional Kenyan cuisine.
- Arusha: Explore the town or relax at your lodge with views of Mount Meru.
Overnight: Nairobi or Arusha (depending on which country you’re entering first).

Day 2: Tarangire or Lake Manyara National Park – Tanzania
- Morning Drive to the Park: After breakfast, set off towards either Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara National Park.
- Tarangire National Park: Famous for its large herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. During dry season (June to October), the park sees an intense concentration of animals around the Tarangire River.
- Lake Manyara National Park: Known for tree-climbing lions, huge flocks of flamingos, and large hippo pools, it’s a great place for birdwatching and spotting wildlife.
- Afternoon Game Drive: Enjoy a game drive until sunset, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more.
Overnight: Lodge or tented camp near the park.

Day 3: Drive to Serengeti National Park
- Scenic Drive through Ngorongoro Highlands: Travel through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands, passing local villages and dramatic landscapes.
- Arrive in Serengeti: Spend the afternoon exploring the Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife reserves in the world.
- Serengeti: Home to an incredible diversity of animals such as lions, cheetahs, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes. If you're visiting during the migration season (January-March or July-October), you may witness herds of wildebeest crossing rivers.
Overnight: Tented camp or lodge inside or near the Serengeti.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
- Early Morning Game Drive: Start your day early to catch predators like lions and leopards in action during the cool morning hours.
Great Migration (If Season): If it’s migration season (Jan–March or July–Oct), follow the herds as they move through the Serengeti, including the dramatic river crossings during July–October.
Picnic Lunch in the Bush: Enjoy a scenic, outdoor lunch while soaking in the African landscape.
Optional Balloon Safari: Take a hot air balloon ride at dawn (additional cost), offering a bird’s eye view of the Serengeti’s vast plains.
Overnight: Serengeti lodge/tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater
- Morning Game Drive: Catch the final moments of wildlife activity before departing the Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngorongoro Crater: Known as the "Garden of Eden," the Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and boasts the highest predator density in Africa. Home to rhinos, lions, buffalo, hippos, and flamingos, this area is a wildlife haven.
Maasai Village Visit (Optional): Stop by a Maasai village to learn about the Maasai culture and way of life.
Overnight: Lodge on the crater rim, where you'll have stunning views of the crater below.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater → Isebania Border → Masai Mara (Kenya)
- Early Descent into the Crater: Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for another game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot rhinos, lions, buffalo, and other wildlife.
Crossing into Kenya: After the morning drive, head to the Isebania Border to cross into Kenya. Depending on your safari company, you may either switch vehicles and guides at the border or stay with the same guide.
Afternoon Drive to Masai Mara: Continue your journey towards the world-renowned Masai Mara for an overnight stay.
Overnight: Lodge or luxury camp inside/near Masai Mara.

Day 7: Full Day in Masai Mara Game Reserve – Kenya
- Morning Game Drive: Explore the expansive plains of Masai Mara, home to abundant wildlife, including the famous "Big Five" (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, rhino), and the dramatic wildebeest migration if you visit during the right season.
Mara River: Visit the Mara River to see crocodiles, hippos, and perhaps even a wildebeest crossing if it's the right time of year.
Optional Maasai Village Visit: Experience the vibrant culture of the Maasai people with a village tour.
Overnight: Lodge or luxury camp inside/near Masai Mara.

Day 8: Another Day in Masai Mara
- Morning Game Drive: Continue to explore different parts of Masai Mara, watching the wildlife in action. If you’re lucky, you might spot lions hunting or cheetahs chasing prey.
Migration Season (If Applicable): If visiting during the Great Migration (July–Oct), you’ll have the chance to witness dramatic river crossings as wildebeest, zebras, and other animals risk their lives to cross the Mara River.
Picnic Lunch in the Bush: Enjoy a delicious picnic surrounded by the wilderness.
Afternoon Game Drive: As the day winds down, head out for a final afternoon game drive, ending with a beautiful sunset over the Mara.
Overnight: Same camp/lodge in Masai Mara.

Day 9: Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru or Amboseli
- Lake Nakuru (Central Kenya): Known for its thousands of flamingos, black and white rhinos, leopards, and lush vegetation, Lake Nakuru is a great birdwatching destination.
Amboseli National Park (South Kenya): Famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers excellent wildlife viewing, especially elephants.
Afternoon Game Drive: Explore the park and spot more wildlife, with different landscapes offering unique viewing opportunities.
Overnight: Lodge or camp near Lake Nakuru or Amboseli.

Day 10: Return to Nairobi & Departure
- Morning Game Drive or Leisurely Breakfast: Depending on your departure time, take a morning game drive or enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your lodge.
Travel Back to Nairobi: Head back to Nairobi (or Arusha, depending on your route). You can either drive back or take a domestic flight, depending on time.
Drop-off at Airport: You’ll be dropped off at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your departure flight.
