Day 01

Meet Dinaric-Littoral Donkeys on a Family Farm

• Get to know the indigenous breed of donkeys typical of the area.
• On a family-run rural estate, about fifty of these charming creatures live. Feed them, pet them, and learn what life on a farm in the Zadar countryside looks like.

Day 02

Stroll Through Historic Nin Old Town

• Walk around the narrow streets of the tiny historic town of Nin. Hear interesting stories from its long history and discover its numerous sights.
• The town was established as a settlement of the Liburnian tribe, the first known people who lived in this area around 900 BC. It was once part of the great Roman Empire, and in the Early Middle Ages, the Croatian Kingdom was born here. Today, Nin is an inevitable destination for all romantic souls and nature lovers.

Day 03

Discover Organic Salt Production at Nin Saltworks

• Visit the Saltworks of Nin, the only place on the Croatian Adriatic where salt is produced organically with a little help from the strong summer sun and the cold north-eastern wind.
• This salt is ecological, therapeutic, and biodynamic because, besides people, diverse wildlife and healing mud also participate in its production.
• Learn about the process of salt production, visit the Museum of Salt, and treat yourself to one of the products from the Saltworks souvenir and deli shop.

Day 04

Olive Oil, Wine, and Dalmatian Flavours with the Dušević Family

• Learn how to recognize good-quality olive oil with a few tricks that your lovely host will teach you upon arrival at the estate.
• Taste three different kinds of olive oil produced by the host's family and enjoy local tapas - cheeses from the nearby island of Pag and world-famous Dalmatian prosciutto - followed by a glass of local white and red wine.
