Day 01

Padang to Bukittinggi via Annai Waterfall

Drive to Bukittinggi, with a stop at Annai Waterfall.
Visit Jam Gadang and Ngarai Sianok.

Day 02

Journey to Harau Valley

Check out from the hotel.
Drive to Harau Valley.
Explore Harau's waterfalls, hills, and natural attractions.

Day 03

Pagaruyung Palace and Return to Bukittinggi

Check out from the hotel.
Visit Pagaruyung Palace.
Continue the journey to Bukittinggi and check in at the hotel.

Day 04

Scenic Drive to Padang Sidempuan

Check out from the hotel.
Drive to Padang Sidempuan, stopping at Aquator and Aek Sijornih.
This is a 10-11 hour drive with scenic views of rice fields and villages.

Day 05

Overland Journey to Lake Toba

Check out from the hotel.
Take a long drive to Lake Toba (6-9 hours), stopping at Salak Farm, Sibolga Beach, and Tarutung.
Check in at a hotel in Parapat.

Day 06

Ferry to Samosir Island

Take a ferry across to Samosir Island.
Visit Tomok Village and Sillagan Village.

Day 07

Batak Heritage and Nature on Samosir

Explore the Batak land of Samosir Island.
Visit Bukit Holhung, Efrata Waterfall, and traditional Batak Toba houses.

Day 08

Samosir Island to Berastagi via Scenic Highlands

Check out from the hotel and take the ferry back to the mainland.
Continue the journey to Berastagi via Simarjarunjung Hill.
Stop at Sipiso-Piso Waterfall, Dokan Village, Gundaling Hill, and a traditional market.

Day 09

Sibayak Volcano Trek and Hot Springs

Trek Sibayak Volcano for about 5 hours.
After the trek, visit hot springs.

Day 10

Berastagi to Bukitlawang

Check out from the hotel.
Drive to Bukitlawang, with stops at the foothill of Sinabung Volcano, Famah Simelir, and a coffee farm.
Check in at the hotel.

Day 11

Jungle Trekking for Orangutan Encounters

After breakfast, join the local ranger for a 4-5 hour jungle trek.
A briefing will be conducted with the local ranger before trekking.
Pay 60 USD per person for the trek.
Return to the hotel and rest.

Day 12

4WD Journey to Tangkahan

Check out from the hotel.
Drive to Tangkahan by four-wheel-drive vehicle, crossing villages and palm oil plantations.
Enjoy soft trekking to visit waterfalls and hot springs.

Day 13

Elephant Washing Experience

Join the locals for an elephant washing activity.
Play with water, wash elephants, feed them, and take photos.
Be prepared to get wet.

Day 14

Tangkahan to Medan City Highlights

Check out from the hotel.
Drive to Medan city.
Visit the Grand Mosque, Maimun Palace, try local Kopo Saok, and visit Tjong Afie Mansion.
