Itinerary

1. DAY 1: Departure from Lusaka

   • 06:30 am: Breakfast at your hotel in Lusaka.

   • 05:30 pm: Meet and greet session in the hotel lobby.

   • Team leader briefs you on the tour for the next day.
   • 07:30 am: Pick-up from your hotel or lodge to start the safari.

   • Travel by road to Chirundu, en route to Lower Zambezi National Park via the T2 Kafue Highway.

   • 09:40 am: Visit Kafue River and Kafue River Bridge.

   • Kafue Bridge was relocated to Zambia in 1949 after being constructed across the River Thames in England in the 1940s.

   • Turnpike Junction: Branch off from T2 road to T1 Livingstone Road.

   • Brief stop at the lay-by station for fresh bananas and apples.

   • Lunch: Enjoy lunch in Chirundu.

   • Post-lunch: Continue to the lodge/camp along the Zambezi River.

   • Afternoon Activity: Boat ride on the Zambezi River.

   • 7:30 pm: Dinner at the lodge or camp.

   Retire for the night.

2. DAY 2: Full Day Safari in Lower Zambezi National Park

   • 04:45 am: Early morning boat ride to the park gate (~70 km, ~2 hours).

   Game Drive

   • Full-day (10-hour) game drive using an open 4x4 safari vehicle.

   • Visit watering points to observe animals drinking.

   • Packed breakfast and lunch at selected spots within the park.

   • Afternoon: Continue exploring the park, maximizing chances to see more wildlife.

   • 5:00 pm: End the game drive and head back to the main camp.

   • 7:30 pm: Dinner and relaxation at the camp.

   Retire for the night.

3. DAY 3: Return to Lusaka

   • 05:00 am: Wake-up call.

   • 06:30 am: Breakfast.

   • 07:30 am: Begin the return journey to Lusaka.

   • Lusaka City Tour: Visit key landmarks and Lusaka Museum.

   • Departure: Transfer to the airport (depending on your flight time).

   End of the tour.
