Itinerary

1. Day 1: Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park

   Early Morning:

   • Depart from Zanzibar, flying to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (1-hour flight).

   • Transfer to Tarangire National Park (2-3 hour drive from Arusha).

   • Arrive by late morning or early afternoon.

   Late Morning to Early Afternoon:

   • Begin a half-day safari game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees.

   • Spot various wildlife including lions, leopards, zebras, wildebeests, and more.

   Late Afternoon

   • Head to your accommodation near the park.

   Evening

   • Enjoy a relaxing dinner at your lodge.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Zanzibar

   Early Morning

   • Start the day with an early game drive in Tarangire, an ideal time for wildlife sightings, including elephants, lions, and leopards.

   • Return for breakfast before heading to Ngorongoro Crater (3-4 hour drive).

   Late Morning to Early Afternoon

   • Arrive at Ngorongoro Crater and descend into the caldera for a safari.

   • Spot a wide range of animals, including lions, buffaloes, rhinos, elephants, and flamingos.

   • Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated spots within the crater.

   Afternoon

   • After the game drive, drive back to Arusha (3-4 hours).

   • Catch a late flight back to Zanzibar if time permits.

   Evening

   • Arrive in Zanzibar by night.
