Lusaka to Kafue National Park and Mwamfushi Lodge

  • Pass through Lusaka City and head towards Kafue National Park, approximately 396 km away via Mumbwa Road.

  • Stop at Nalusanga Gate for photos and refreshments.

  • Upon arrival at Mwamfushi Lodge, check in to your comfortable accommodation on the banks of the Kafue River.

Chobe National Park Day Trip from Livingstone

  • Wake up at 05:45, take a shower, and have breakfast at 06:30.
  • At 06:50, get picked up from your lodge or hotel and travel to the border post for customs clearance, approximately 45 minutes away.

  • After clearing customs, continue to Chobe National Park, arriving at around 08:40.

  • Begin with a leisurely three-hour game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various antelope species.

  • At around 12:30, enjoy lunch at a riverbank hotel.

  • After lunch, board a 4x4 safari vehicle for a guided game drive in Chobe National Park, seeking out more wildlife while enjoying the beautiful environment.

  • At approximately 17:00, head back to the border post and return to your hotel in Livingstone by 18:00.

  • In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner and relax.

Livingstone to Hwange National Park
