Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Serengeti National Park

Accommodations: Client’s choice of public campsite, tented campsite, or lodge
- After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, depart early for a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park.
- Travel past Ngorongoro Crater, where you may spot wildlife along the way.
- Arrive at Serengeti and enjoy a picnic lunch at Naabai Kopje, surrounded by stunning views.
- Explore Serengeti’s vast landscapes, home to zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and the Big Five.
- Enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your preferred accommodation for the night.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Accommodations: Client’s choice of public campsite, tented campsite, or lodge
- Begin the day with an exciting game drive through the heart of Serengeti, spotting the Big Five and other wildlife.
- Look for predators, such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as giraffes, zebras, and hippos.
- Return to camp for a delicious dinner.
- Option for a short evening game drive to continue wildlife viewing.
- Rest for the night at your chosen accommodation.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Accommodations: Client’s choice of public campsite, tented campsite, or lodge
- Enjoy a morning game drive to witness predators like lions hunting and see hippos and monkeys.
- Stop for lunch before heading to Ngorongoro Crater.
- Check in at your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
- Enjoy dinner and relax for the night.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Moshi/Arusha

Accommodations: Client’s choice of public campsite, tented campsite, or lodge
- Early breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater for a six-hour game drive.
- Witness wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and cheetahs.
- Stop for a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool and enjoy wildlife sightings.
- After lunch, continue exploring the crater before ascending back to the rim.
- Head toward Moshi or Arusha to conclude your safari and return to your starting point.

Know Before You Go

You will travel in a 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for easy wildlife viewing.

Some roads in the parks can be bumpy and dusty, so be prepared for an adventurous ride.

The parks are home to wild animals, so always follow your guide’s instructions.

Stay inside the vehicle unless at designated picnic spots.

Avoid sudden movements or loud noises that may startle animals.

You can choose between public campsites, tented camps, and lodges, depending on your budget and comfort preference.

Meals are provided as per the itinerary and usually include continental and local Tanzanian cuisine.

Special dietary requests can be accommodated with prior notice.

Bring extra camera batteries and memory cards as charging options may be limited in campsites.

Drones are not allowed in national parks without special permits.

Some lodges and camps have Wi-Fi, but expect limited or no signal in remote safari areas.

Most visitors need a tourist visa, which can be obtained on arrival ($50 for most nationalities, $100 for US citizens) or online via Tanzania’s eVisa portal.

Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.
