Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

   • Depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley and Narok Town. You will arrive in time for lunch. 
   • After lunch and a brief rest, you will embark on your afternoon game drive feasting your eyes on the marvels that Masai Mara has to offer. 
   • All members of the big 5 are found in this reserve. Other animals seen here include cheetah, serval, hyena, bat-eared foxes, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboons, warthog, topi, eland among others. 
   • Different bird species are also found. They include eagles, vultures, ostriches, storks, little grebe, pelicans, cormorants & darter. In the evening you will retire to your lodge, have dinner and fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

   Accommodation at Lenchada Tourist Camp or similar

   Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

2. Day 2: Masai Mara Game Drives

   • In the morning, you'll depart your camp for a full-day excursion into the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary. It's the most famous and most visited game reserve in the country. 
   • Here, you can easily view an array of wildlife, including gazelle, impala, antelope, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, and warthog, as well as the big cat species, such as leopard, cheetah, and lion.
   • In the evening, you'll return to camp where you can relax on your personal veranda, swim in the pool, view the elephants from the lounge, or enjoy a drink in the bar before dinner.

   Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

3. Day 3: Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru National Park

   • After early breakfast, you can opt for an optional Masai Village visit. Otherwise, depart for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check-in at the lodge. 
   • After a short period of relaxation you will head for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for the flocks of the greater and lesser Flamingo that gather around the lake numbering around 2 million, which turns the lake pink. This has given the lake a nickname; the pink lake. The endangered rhino and Rothschild giraffe are found in the park. 
   • Other animals found in the park include African buffalos, zebras, impalas, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, waterbucks, hyenas, jackals, and hippopotamus among many others.
   • Accommodation at WCK Guesthouse or Similar
   • Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

4. Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi

   • After early breakfast, proceed for an en-route game drive in the park to see the lion, buffalo, hyena, water buck, and the antelope. 
   • Depart for Nairobi with lunch on the way and a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in Nairobi in the evening where you will be dropped off at the hotel / airport with lots of treasured memories.
