The itinerary

Day 01

New Delhi's Historic Monuments

Start the tour in New Delhi and visit historic monuments such as the Qutub Minar Complex, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, and Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President's House).

Day 02

Old Delhi Heritage and Rickshaw Ride

Continue the tour with a visit to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial.
Proceed to Old Delhi to see the huge, beautiful, historic 17th-century mosque, Jama Masjid.
Visit Delhi's famous Red Fort.
Experience the fun of a rickshaw ride through the local market.

Day 03

Journey to Agra and Evening Taj Views

Proceed to Agra, which was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.
Reach there at 12 noon after a 4-hour journey by road.
Have lunch at a local restaurant and rest for a while at the hotel.
Visit the beautiful Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah and see the world-famous monument of love, the Taj Mahal, from the other side of the Yamuna River in the evening.

Day 04

Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Akbar's Tomb

Start the day with a visit to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Spend a lovely time appreciating and admiring its architecture and the beautiful white marble inlay work.
Visit Agra Fort, which is also a World Heritage monument.
Lunch.
Proceed to the complex of Akbar's Tomb.
Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 05

Fatehpur Sikri En Route to Jaipur

Leave Agra at 9 am and proceed to Jaipur.
Visit Fatehpur Sikri Fort, also known as the Abandoned City.
Have lunch on the way and then continue straight to Jaipur.
Relish the long 7-hour journey, including 3 hours for the fort visit and lunch.

Day 06

Amber Fort and Jaipur Royal Heritage

Start at 8 am and visit the very beautiful Amber Fort.
Enjoy an elephant ride at Amber Fort and explore its great Hindu architecture.
Proceed to visit the City Palace, the private palace of a Hindu Maharaja.
Visit the Observatory, which was used to tell time with the help of the sun's shadow.

Day 07

Return to Delhi and Lotus Temple Visit

Leave Jaipur at 10 am and reach Delhi at 3 pm.
Have a late lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit the Lotus Temple of the Bahai religion.
Proceed to the airport for the return journey.
