Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival at Lake Baringo

   • Depart from Nairobi and head north towards Lake Baringo.
   • Enjoy birdwatching along the lake’s shores and venture on a boat trip to spot elusive species such as the African Fish Eagle.
   • Explore scrublands and cliffs around the lake to see raptors like Dark Chanting-Goshawk, Spotted Eagle-Owl, and Verreaux’s Eagle.
   • Observe a variety of other species such as the Slender-tailed Nightjar, D’Arnaud’s Barbet, and Jackson’s Golden-backed Weaver.

   Overnight stay at Tumbili Cliff Lodge.

2. Day 2: Lake Bogoria and Lake Nakuru National Park

   • In the morning, visit Lake Bogoria National Reserve, famous for its volcanic hot springs and large populations of flamingos.
   • Witness thousands of flamingos congregating along the shores for stunning photo opportunities.
   • In the afternoon, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, a world-renowned birdwatching hotspot, home to over 300 bird species.
   • Enjoy birding at the lake, spotting species such as the Saddle-billed Stork, Great Crested Grebe, African Jacana, and Marabou Stork.
   • Capture photographs of big game like rhinos, giraffes, and buffalos that also inhabit the park.

   Overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

3. Day 3: Final Birdwatching Session & Return to Nairobi

   • Early morning birdwatching session in Lake Nakuru National Park to capture any species missed previously.
   • Depart after the session for the drive back to Nairobi, concluding the safari.
